I love cabochons the most and yes, the carved emeralds too. I have always felt that the Colombian emeralds are connected to a very royal era, since its vivid hue has a very regal feel, as compared to a Zambian or a Russian one. It can also be married to any stone, a pearl or ruby, or diamonds of any cut or colour, making it a very versatile stone for any designer.
