The Kokan region has been devastated by continuous heavy rainfall since July 20′ 2021. High tide in the Arabian Sea and non-stop rains took place at the same time due to which the situation has become critical. Many areas are submerged under water causing damage to the property and the livelihood of people there.
The life of the people has come to a halt because of the floods. Kiran Gems came forward to help rebuild the lives of the flood-affected brothers and sisters in Chiplun and Mahad.
